The Western WDB can help when economic conditions force a layoff or closing. When workers become unemployed due to a business closing or layoff, Western WDB Rapid Response team will provide timely, onsite services to those affected. Onsite information sessions help workers answer questions related to:

  • unemployment insurance benefits
  • alternative pension and insurance programs
  • occupational and transitional skills training options
  • reemployment services
  • veteran's benefits
